It’s that time of year. Kids will be out of school soon and the summer events begin. We have two new events this year to go along with all the others. Saturday, May 26th will be the inaugural Niobrara River Festival. There will be canoe and kayak races, food, beer and music. It starts at 9:00 a.m. and goes to 10:00 p.m. Lots of festivities! The other new event is the Chaduza Cook Off, which is Saturday, June 23rd. It will be an all day event with the categories of burger, chicken, and ribs. There will also be a beer garden provided by Bolo Beer, our local brewery. We are set for a busy summer, just check our calendar of events! So, start planning your trip to the Heart City!
